About Us

WanderCARE is a direct urgent care and primary care practice serving families across the Seacoast region of New Hampshire and Northern Massachusetts. Founded by board-certified pediatrician Dr. Jo Ann Beltre, WanderCARE was created to restore trust, compassion, and connection in healthcare by meeting families where they are.
We offer same-day or next-day urgent care for all ages, pediatric primary care memberships, and comprehensive travel medicine consultations. Care is provided in multiple convenient ways: in-office visits at our Epping location, house calls throughout the greater Seacoast area, and telemedicine appointments available anywhere in NH and MA. By operating outside the insurance system, WanderCARE allows direct communication with Dr Jo and unrushed visits- while eliminating phone trees, copays, surprise bills, and the stress of waiting rooms—making healthcare simple, transparent, and family-focused.
Dr. Jo brings over 20 years of experience in pediatrics, urgent care, and public health, as well as leadership as a medical director. Fluent in Spanish and active in global health, she has led medical teams on vounteer missions around the world. Locally, she is committed to serving Exeter-area families and supporting the vitality of the Seacoast business community.
