The Seacoast Artist Association will hold their Second Friday reception on March 11 from 5-7PM. “Sunflowers for Ukraine,” is a fundraiser to support the World Central Kitchen where chef José Andrés is feeding those fleeing the war on Ukraine, which is the homeland of one of their exhibiting artists, sculptor Natasha Dikareva. The SAA artists have created sunflower images, Ukraine’s national flower, and those of blue and yellow, their flag’s colors, and are donating all the proceeds. They will also be featuring two Body of Work shows by painters Karen Desrosiers and Margaret Bowlus-Serino. The theme show this month is “Black and White,” and you can vote for the People’s Choice Award at the reception. Masks are required, and there will be no refreshments served this month.
