Welcome to Bird Land: Michele L'Heureux With artist/collaborator Helen Popinchalk September 4 – October 13, 2018 Gallery Hours: Mon by appointment, Tues – Fri 9am-5pm, Sat 10am-4pm Welcome to Bird Land draws inspiration from birds and the human enterprises of bird appreciation and birdwatching. Working with artist/collaborator Helen Popinchalk, L’Heureux explores how an encounter with one bird—a “spark bird”—can inspire a lifetime of admiration and wonder. The exhibition, which includes an interactive bird blind, collage, costumes, prints, photography, and works of art from the Lamont Gallery collection, is an immersive ode to birds.
