Lamont Gallery Pop-Up Exhibition: Monsieur Degas at Exeter September 3 – October 19, 2019 We are pleased to present Cheval se cabrant (Rearing Horse), a sculpture by the famous French Impressionist artist, Edgar Degas (1834-1917). This important bronze sculpture is on generous loan from Victoria Riskin Rintels and David W. Rintels, ’55 In memory of Gisela and The Honorable Charles E. Wyzanski, ’23, and later Trustee of the Academy. This piece will be on view in the Lamont Gallery, during our primary exhibition, American Mortal, and will remain on campus through the fall.
