In partnering with The Redford Center, Alnoba is pleased to offer our brand-new Film Series, where we feature enthralling stories portrayed on film, directed by powerful message-givers who dare to tell stories that cultivate our minds. Films will be shown inside our intimate Leadership room on our large projector screen with high quality sound system. Synopsis This award winning feature film, EXPOSURE, is a powerful story following a Muslim chaplain, a French biologist, a Qatari princess and eight other women who pull 150-pound sledges across the fast-disappearing Arctic sea ice to become, together - and against all odds - the last-ever team to reach the North Pole. This group of daring women from the Arab World and the West attempt to ski across the melting Arctic sea ice to the North Pole. Director Holly Morris and her crew capture the struggle of these boundary-breaking adventurers who, led by veteran polar explorer Felicity Aston, navigate everything from frostbite and polar bear threats, to sexism and self-doubt in an intimate story of resilience, survival and global citizenry.
